At Botanically Unique, every plant is carefully inspected, packed by hand, and shipped with care to help it arrive healthy and ready to thrive.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

To reduce the chance of plants sitting in shipping facilities over the weekend, live plant orders generally ship Monday through Wednesday.

During periods of extreme weather or holidays, shipping may be delayed to help protect your plants. If a delay is necessary, we'll contact you by email.

Shipping Methods

We currently ship throughout the continental United States using trusted carriers, including USPS and UPS.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • package weight
  • package size
  • destination
  • selected shipping service

Customers may choose from available shipping options during checkout.

Weather Protection

The health of your plants is our top priority.

During periods of excessive heat, severe storms, or other hazardous weather, we may temporarily delay shipment until conditions improve.

Local Delivery

Local delivery is available for customers within 20 miles of Glen Allen, Virginia.

  • 0–10 miles: Free Local Delivery
  • 10–20 miles: $10 Delivery Fee

Most local deliveries are completed within 1–3 business days.

After your order is placed, we'll contact you to coordinate a convenient delivery time.

Plant Care During Shipping

Live plants may experience minor stress while traveling.

Upon arrival:

  • Unpack your plant promptly.
  • Remove all packing materials.
  • Water only if needed.
  • Allow several days for your plant to acclimate to its new environment.

Some yellowing, drooping, or minor cosmetic imperfections are normal after shipping and do not necessarily indicate poor plant health.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please verify that your shipping address is correct before completing your order.

Botanically Unique is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
